I've been working as a digital technology and mobile photography editor for more than a year now and people keep asking me why I'm using iPhone for photography while they think there are better options. Some people even go so far as calling me an Apple fanboy! Obviously I'm not an Apple fanboy. I do love android, I do enjoy my Nexus 5x (even somehow more than my iPhone 6s) and I like to give Google Pixel a shot as soon as possible. I admit that in terms of quality there are better smartphone cameras than iPhone (including my own Nexus 5x and probably Pixel) but there are some other factors that set iPhone apart from others. First of all, generations of iPhones have had literally zero shutter lag for years which makes them perfect to capture the decisive moment. The Achilles Heel of iPhone camera which Google seems to be aiming by Pixel. The second most important factor is consistency. iPhone camera might not always produce best of the best result, but you can be sure than it almost always produces the result you expect from it. I mean shooting with an iPhone is not hit or miss like some other smartphone cameras which sometimes produce fabulous results and sometimes ruin the scene completely. The consistency of iPhone camera can also be traced in its history. I've been using generations of iPhones for almost 6 years and the camera have been improving in a very sensible way which keeps it completely familiar for users. It helped iPhone camera to become literally part of my body. Now I can shoot my desired subject in a very smooth act without even looking at my iPhone screen. Last but not least are the Apps. Unique phenomenal Apps like Hipstamatic which even alone could keep me pinned down to iPhone as my only camera. Believe or not, Apple haven't paid me a penny to use iPhone or say this words, but I want to appreciate them for making one of the best cameras human have ever made for street photography. Shush Castle, located in the ruins of the ancient city of Susa, was built by the French archaeologist Jean-Marie Jacques de Morgan in the late 1890s. The bricks used to build the castle was taken from two other archaeological sites, the Achaemenid Dariush castle and the Elamite Choqazanbil ziggurat. Thus you can see different types of bricks by closely looking at the structure with some words in cuneiform written on some of them.
