"Photography that captures women in real and inclusive ways calls for great skill, exuding honesty and celebrates vulnerability."

- Glenda Slingsby, Partnerships Director for International Women’s Day

In addition, 20% of the licensing revenue of images featured in the image collection will be donated to International Women’s Day charity of choice - World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). An organization seeking to support girls and young women around the globe to become leaders and active citizens.

“I want to show those beautiful moments that we don’t notice in regular life.”

- Kate Phellini, EyeEm Photographer of The Year 2019

About #EachforEqual

EyeEm is proud to support this year's IWD's #EachforEqual campaign. Whether we be on an individual basis or coming together as a collective - the goal is to create a gender equal world where we "challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women's achievements." Why? Because an "equal world is an enabled world."

At the centre of EyeEm is the goal of empowering creativity by pairing the world's leading brands with incredible emerging talent. Whether it be women in visual art, technology, science, or sport - it's time to use photography as a tool for true representation of women around the world. The EyeEm X IWD partnership is centered around equipping brands to do just that - use imagery that empowers women of all ages.

"Being #EachforEqual means everyone playing a part in forging women's equality within their own sphere of influence."

- Glenda Slingsby, Partnerships Director for International Women’s Day
