A brand new way to discover the people behind the lenses.

The very first Global EyeEm Meetup is happening this weekend on May 3 and 4. We can’t wait! There are 50 meetups happening worldwide, from New York to London, from Moscow to Tokyo. The Global EyeEm Meetup is about connecting photographers from around the world and the Faces of EyeEm is a way to connect with every single photographer on EyeEm.

Have you ever been curious about the people behind the lenses? The Faces of EyeEm album is a celebration of global diversity, and of all our community connected by mobile photography. Let’s create a portrait album of EyeEm community members from around the world!

To take part simply take portrait photos of your fellow EyeEm photographers, tag them, and add them to the Faces of EyeEm album. Portraits should be classic head and shoulder shots, but feel free to experiment with backgrounds, moods, personality, expressions – remember, this album should represent diversity!

Want to take part in the global meetup? Find your nearest EyeEm Meetup here.

We’ve kick-started the album with some photos from the team, we hope you like them. See you this weekend!
