Shoot with kCe, our new Black & White Filter

By Severin - 5 min read

kCe is the latest addition to our array of filters and it comes with a smashing high contrast, deep saturation and a dreamy, analog feel to it. Our goal was to develop a filter with intense strong black & white tones, making your shots look like they came fresh out of the darkroom.

The story of kCe

We regularly get inspired by you guys, the EyeEm community, to improve our camera. While EyeEm member Gee09 inspired us for our GEE09 filter and the Food Porn movement for our Food P filter, the beautiful black & white photographs of Klaudia Cechini were our inspiration behind the kCe filter.

We’ve asked Klaudia to test out the filter andshe was kind enough to produce a breathtaking series of photos with it.

Make sure to check it out!

Brand new visual discover feed

This update also comes with a newly designed Discover feed. The topics & places that are relevant to you are now displayed as thumbnails with the album name in the middle, giving you an instant overview of the newest photos added to the albums.

Updated sidebar menu

We reworked the navigation within the app and placed the Discover feed directly in the sidebar menu. The “Favorite Albums” and “Liked Photos” tabs are now accessible directly via your profile, making it easy to find all your stuff in one place.
