“Hang loose” and grab your camera for this TASCHEN x EyeEm Mission

“[Surfing] can be unpredictable and lethal, benign and thunderous, ecstatic and satisfying. Nothing in the world of sports quite compares to it.”
– ‘A View From The Beach’ in Surfing. 1778–2015, Jim Heimann (2016)

What does the phrase “Surf’s Up” bring to mind? Camper vans packed with gear, wave-riding fans crowding sandy shores, post-surf BBQ grub, surfer style, the iconic shaka greeting… This TASCHEN x EyeEm Mission is all about sharing a side to the sport rarely seen – as well as the culture and traditions that have grown with it, making waves around the world.

Brought to you by EyeEm and the guys at TASCHEN, this Mission celebrates the release of Surfing 1778–2015 by Jim Heimann. And we’ve got a copy of the book up for grabs. Stoked? Us too!
