For the first time ever, EyeEm announces a scholarship exclusively for college and university students. The 2016 EyeEm College Scholarship awards $1,500 to a student of any discipline, anywhere in the world – simply share your photos that tell the story of your student life.

The 2016 EyeEm College Scholarship

We all have the access to the tools to make amazing photos, and we want to honor those who put them into action -beginner or seasoned- and support their journey as a photographer. The 2016 EyeEm Student Scholarship will set one student on the road to growing as a photographer, whether that be through the funding of a project, the advancing of their own education or the purchase of new photo tools.

How to Apply

Submit your best photo that illustrates the theme My Student Life. Maybe it’s a capture of your library’s reading room, a favorite cafe to study at, a campus haunt, your book bag’s contents, or the classmates, teachers, and companions you see on the daily. Every day as a student brings something new and exciting, moments you’ve inevitably caught on camera – sometimes also known as your phone.

To apply, upload your photo to EyeEm and tag your upload with “My Student Life”. The EyeEm photo editors will select one winner to be awarded the $1,500 scholarship towards your studies.

Terms and Conditions: For entry, you must be studying at an approved institution anywhere in the world and be able to prove enrollment with a recent transcript showcasing the most recent session of study completed. Students are not required to be currently studying photography.
