Today marks the 45th anniversary of Earth Day, a worldwide celebration of the magnificent planet on which we live and remembrance of the fact that it’s the only one we’ve got.

Isn’t our planet beautiful? From the icy cliffs in Antarctica to the sand dunes of Morocco, the breathtaking mountains of Ecuador to bamboo forests in Kyoto, endless beaches in Australia and the valleys of the Nevada desert – there’s an endless amount of amazing, breathtaking, beautifully photogenic places on Earth.
