A Recap of the EyeEm Florence Meetup
By Stephanie - 4 min read
The EyeEm Florence community put a fun twist to the usual photowalk by turning the cameras around on the tourists in the city. The 12 photographers split up into two groups and came up with great results.

Here’s a recap from our ambassador Andrea “norbu56” Bigiarini:
Florence is a fantastic city full of palaces, statues and masterpieces of art but the thing is really full of are rivers of tourists. So I’ve decided to propose this “Tourist Hunting” to my EyeEm Meetup mates for the EyeEm Florence Meetup
It’s a “game” that I do everyday and is the tactic and you can try in your meetups:
A. Find a place full of tourist busy to snap pictures.
B. Look for someone who is shooting a souvenir photo to his wife, friends o family. Most of the cases the background is a church, the Campanile or a fountain.
C. Stay behind him and pretend to photograph the monument and shoot his wife/girfriend or whatever posing for him.
Thanks everyone for participating. We’re looking forward to the next one!
