On a sunny Sunday afternoon on February 3rd, 6 shooters met for the first EyeEm Meetup in Palermo, Buenos Aires. The mission: walking through the city and taking photos together.
Here’s a recap from Javier Siriani who organized the meetup:
It was a sunny afternoon in the summer of Buenos Aires, the light was just perfect for the EyeEm Buenos Aires Meetup. I was excited to meet the group, everbody had different cameras or phones and we all had different ways and styles to shoot the mood of our beautiful and colorful city. We talked about lenses, phones, and tips.
We walked thought the “Planetario”, next stop would “El Rosedal”. The Rose Garden Park or simply “Rosedal” is a traditional park, part of “Tres de Febrero Park”, located in the neighborhood of Palermo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A lot of artworks, including 26 busts of poets and writers, are stationed in the most striking among a bridge constructions are Greek and Andalusian.
A significant number of people walking there every day, either on foot or by bicycle, and the flow increases significantly in the weekends. You can also make boating on the three artificial lakes that exist in the area. Despite being in the heart of the city, is one of the best places to watch birds in Buenos Aires, with a variety of raptors, herons, parrots, woodpeckers and passerines.
The diversity of pictures taken Until here was incredible, I was happy. After that, We shared a coffee drink, talking and relaxing next to the perfect sunset ending in glory or first photowalk together.
I must say I’m excited already, we really rocked the streets of Buenos Aires! A big shout out goes to:
