Where: Disseny Hub Barcelona
Who: Europe’s mobile photography scene
Starting on Friday night with a cocktail reception at the Mobile World Centre, the festival really kicked off on Saturday morning. Saturday was filled with conference talks about mobile photography, hands-on workshops and photo walks, held by some of Europe’s best known shooters. The day was then finished with an after party at El Molino and followed by a laid back Sunday with meetups & photo walks around the city.
Here’s a recap by Severin who was at the festival:
Barcelona was really exciting for me. Not only because one of our EyeEm Ambassadors, Carol, was organizing the festival and we hosted an exhibition with photos from the EyeEm community there, but also because of all the people I’ve met. Suddenly the people you interact with online become real. It makes you realize how much photography and photo sharing connects us.
I especially enjoyed meeting our local EyeEm Ambassadors Carol & Guillermo, Suzana who flew in from Romania, Phil González from Instagramers.com, Thomas Kakareko from Berlin, VuThéara Kam from Paris, Roberto from Contestgram, Luis Torres & Milos Kalvin from Shootermag, Cris Jiménez, Manuela Matos Monteiro, Tizzia, Blanca, Raset, Raquel, Steven and everyone who attended our EyeEm Meetup Barcelona.
Thanks for the great time & see you soon at the next meetup!
