Last weekend, on Saturday 28th July, a bunch of EyeEm fanatics met at the EyeEm London Meetup to take photos together. Our community manager Stephanie was there and has the following to report..

last weekend, on Saturday 28th July, a bunch of EyeEm fanatics met at the EyeEm London Meetup to take photos together. Our community managerStephanie was there and has the following to report:

Thanks again for such a wonderful photowalk! It was great to finally put faces to names that always pop up on EyeEm. We went on an adventure through East London with a stop at Tower Bridge to refuel and then continued to walk along the river. During the Olympics, each country sets up a homebase somewhere around London and we came across the Austria House where this kind lady was handing out balloons. I took one and stuck an EyeEm sticker on it so people in the group could easily spot us if they wander off.

We thought it would be great to get different people we see walking around holding the ballon. In the end, we had a lovely man from the Denmark House, a soldier, alimousine driver, a security guard and a group of Danes. Not bad! After the photowalk we stopped by Captin Kidd for ciders, beers, and of course WiFi : )
