https://vimeo.com/170804776 My experience with studying photography began in 2008 international festival of photography in Savignano called “SI FEST,” where I had the opportunity to meet and take lessons from such renowned photographers as Guido Guidi, for example. From September 2009 to March 2010, I attended a course in analogue and digital photography at the Academy of Arts in Cesena called “Accademia Romagna”. During this period, I participated in two collective exhibitions, which taught me how to prepare an exhibition space(printing, displaying,etc.). From April to the end 2010, I focused my attention on studying and experimenting with light, nocturnal photos, post-processing, and exploring the “concept” of creative photos. Following these interests, I attended two courses offered to the students by the University of Bologna from the beginning to the middle of 2011. The first was about creativity in photography and was led by the famous Italian photographer, Silvia Camporesi. This course was composed of two different parts, a theoretical part and a practical part with particular attention to the use of lights, colours and postprocessing. The second course was about the History of Cinema, movie directing and script writing, and led by Alessandro Quadretti, a documentary film director. Using the skills, I learned in this course; I acted as director of photography in a short movie and a little spot for the “University of Bologna”. At the end of June, thanks to my studies in architecture, I managed to attend the “Sin.Thesis” in Savignano Sul Rubicone: a workshop about documentary photography led by Simon Roberts, in which we did photo research and documentation of commercial life in Savignano. This seminar, as I said at the beginning, definitely convinced me of my desire to dedicate myself to studying and working on photography. By 2012 I' m attending BA Hons of Photography at the University of Brighton, where I graduated in 2016 and have an exhibition with my last work "The edge of the circle: At the border of the light". borderline borderline personality disorder depression Friedrich Nietzsche james joyce Mental Awareness mental health mental health awareness mental illness social issues Suicide silence in Brighton, United Kingdom
