Patiently Waiting In this grave I lie. Visitors rarely come. Its been to long. Threescore, four, maybe more, Was put here then. As I wait for what is to come. I lay lost, alone, and forgotten. The dirt has fallen in. My grave is covered with bricks. Tree roots surround my bones. My headstone has long weathered away. Sometimes I wonder. The tree that grows trough, How large will it get? Will someone come around and cut it down? Or will it grow big and tall and proud? Just like I used to be. Are there flowers growing ? Are they pretty, smell good to? I hope so, that would make me proud. Finally, a stranger has passed. He took a picture, Wrote my words. Maybe someone will read this, And maybe my memory will last. Patiently Waiting.
