The One Dollar Dream by Pachi Tamer

By Severin - 5 min read

It all started when Pachi Tamer took a portrait of Jim in Austin, Texas. Jim, a homeless person with roots in Germany, told him that the only dream he wanted to make true before he dies was to go to Oktoberfest. So Pachi thought: why not help Jim make this dream come true?

One Dollar Dreams

If all the people following Pachi on EyeEm & Instagram donated just 1 dollar, Jim could go to Oktoberfest. That’s how One Dollar Dream was created. Out of his dedication to help people in need, Pachi created the website to make the dreams of socially disadvantaged people come true.

These dreams can be as simple as going to Oktoberfest, or having a bike, or going to rehab to cure an addiction. One Dollar Dream is a beautiful project that gives those people a face and a voice who are otherwise deprived by society.

So why don’t you give a dollar?
