Hey friends,

our Android filters just got a major upgrade! We tweaked every single filter, from Boost to kCe to Gee09, to improve colors, tones and saturation. Download the latest update on Google Play and try it out!

Improved filters on every level

Each filter reacts differently to light. While some work great in daylight others achieve better results with artificial light, cloudy settings or highly reflective areas. Then there are colors, tones, saturation, contrast, highlights.. all of which play into how your photo looks like in the end.

In order to give you the best variety of filters to shoot with we gave our Android camera a major overhaul. Some filters are tweaked more, some less. Overall the performance of our camera just got a lot better.

Ready to get started? Here’s an overview about our filters & the effects they achieve:

Boost

The name is the game: Boost pushes the colors of your photo a level higher up. Natural light becomes brighter and artificial lights start to glow.

Kross

Kross is great for indoor shots. It doesn’t push colors over the top and is just right for adding some atmosphere.

Cabu

Cabu is our favorite for a retro 80s film look. It adds strong blues and a dreamy vignette to your photos.

kCe

Everybody loves kCe. With the upgrade we made the curves more neutral so that shots in bright sunlight don’t get overexposed, yet the strong contrast remains.

Sting

Sting adds the strongest blue to your photo. Best used for low light situations like dusk and dawn.

Wintage

The most unpredictable of our filters. Depending on the colors in your photos it always reacts differently, mostly with very strong effects.

Earlgrey

Earlgrey is named after the English Tea. It adds brownish-yellowish tones to your photo which works great for a vintage looks.

Gundlach

The classic black and white filter. Not as strong in contrast as kCe , but softer tones and a warmer atmosphere.

Vanilla

Perfect for natural light. Adds brightness while keeping the natural atmosphere.

Gotham

The dark knight of filters. Best used in factory and rather dark settings to enhance the mood.

Dani

One of our softer filters which adds contrast to your photo. Use it in bright sunlight to lower the exposure.

Gee09

In the same family as Vanilla, but with even more brightness. Creates that magic film look everyone loves.

Food P

Try out the classic “my plate from the top” pic and you’ll see that this filter renders your food shots beautifully. Also great for blue skys and sunny days.
