New Photo Mission: Altars

By EyeEm Team - 3 min read

Altars can be huge and imposing, or small and personal. An homage to a passion, faith, loved one – altars can be found in all shapes and sizes and your challenge is to photograph them this week.

Sacred spaces come in all colors, shapes and sizes. Sometimes we travel far and wide to seek them out, but sometimes we create them, ourselves, to keep close to our hearts. Altars can be grand and imposing, or small and personal, but each offers a glimpse into the spiritual journey of the one who built it and may share a taste of the local culture out of which it grew.

This week with The Huffington Post, the challenge is to snap and share images of Altars, big and small.
