City: originally from Morocco but living in Montreal.
Job: I’m a student in languages and urban planning.
Device: iPhone 4S
What’s special about the place you’re coming from?
All the places I took photos at are places that are very familiar to me yet very different from one another, which really gave me the opportunity to try different things. For example, the university I go to is in the heart of downtown so it’s the perfect setting for street photography.
How would you describe your style of shooting?
I don’t really know if I have one style of shooting, it really depends on the situation I’m in , but most of the time it’s spontaneous while going to work and see something interesting i would snap a photo
Your favorite filter + frame combination with the new EyeEm version?
Your pro tip for shooting great photos with the new EyeEm camera?
If you plan on using the POLA frame for a photo, my tip is to take the photo vertically instead of horizontally. Leave your comfort zone and try different filters. Gundlach is perfect for high contrast and street photography photos. I don’t usually like the sepia filters in other apps, but the sepia filter on EyeEm is really different in a good way. It’s one of my favourites after Kross, it has a grungy texture that makes it different than the others and makes it more special!
Update now toEyeEm 2.5and try out the new filters yourself. Don’t forget to rate the app if you like it!
