Hey there!

Welcome to your weekly dose of inspiration.

Today we focus on photographers that shoot panoramas. This type of shot allows us to create elongated fields of view by stitching together many images together. Taking nice panoramas is definitely an art in itself, so we selected a fine range of 5 shooters whom we admire for their skills and asked them to tell us a little more about themselves.

If you feel inspired, check out this tutorial on how to shoot panoramas and add your photos to the Panorama album.

Enjoy your weekend!

cale

My name is Cale Hernandez. I was born in New Orleans Louisiana and now live in South Carolina. I have always been into art and photography which has lead me to a career as a graphic designer. Finding things to photograph that are very common in everyone’s life is such a joy to me. That is why I love architecture. Photographing common structures in a creative way will hopefully bring people to look at architecture in a different light allowing them to enjoy the simplebeauty of lines and how they function.

Hi, I’m Frederic Blondel, I’m 38 years old, I live in Le Mans, France and I’m working as a web project manager/expert in web accessibility. For me, everything is a potential source of inspiration, from the toothbrush I see every morning to a very teasing gleam in the eyes of an old lady.

Taking panoramic photography is a bit more difficult, less impulsive, more technical and cerebral: it’s like painting watercolor, where improvisation has no/few place. But it’s very exciting, as you have to wait the stitching process reveals the final result, kinda like in film-based photography.
