Eaton canyon

More like Ponytail Falls? | When I reached Eaton Canyon Falls, it was quite jam packed with hikers, mostly families and friends, cooling off in the water. The trail itself was very short and easy, so it was a perfect hike for families with little kids and dogs. Which was a problem for me because I was there to do long exposure. I decided to wait, and a couple of hours later there were only a handful of hikers left, I started taking long exposure shots. This falls reminded me of Horsetail Falls in Columbia River Gorge, OR. Just magical | On my way back to the trailhead, I often hopped across or sauntered along many Eaton Canyon streams, and this particular one just stopped me. How brightly the light illuminated the woods from behind and the reflection of the gorgeous colors in the stream was just magical. I couldn’t pass it up. I put down my backpack and started setting up my camera for a few shots.
