Portugal- Évora

EVORA Portugal Evora, the capital of Alto Alentejo, is included on the World Heritage List and is a unique historical city due to the preservation of its city walls and its many ancient monuments – one of which is a Roman temple. Over 2,000 years old and once separated from the rest of the world by its medieval fortified walls, today Evora fully justifies its title of the Museum City. Buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries (many with open courtyards), cobblestone-paved streets, galleries, and squares with @sergiobenacci Canon 7D Lisboa splashing fountains and the cathedral are the main attractions of this city. Today’s Evora is a sleepy provincial town, seemingly embarrassed by such a number of architectural treasures within its walls. Hello World Lisboa Portugal
