I have built a career as a well renowned professional film photographer. However, with the advent of phoneography, my body of work has gone through a metamorphosis. My photographic eye has transformed completely. I now can look at anything and visualize what the end result will be. I take the everyday, ordinary subject such as a paperclip on a subway floor, a pair of walking shoes, a middle aged lady on the beach, a clothespin on a clothes line and turns them into stunning pieces of art. Many of my award winning phoneography pieces of work have been exhibited in Italy, the United Kingdom, New York, and Connecticut. This June, my Grand Central Station series has been part of Art Takes Times Square. His gorgeous Morning Fog Garden earned 1st Place in this year’s Sixth Annual iPhone Photography Awards and his Pink (flower) an Honorable Mention. I now can look at anything and visualize what the end result will be. I take the everyday, ordinary subject such as a paperclip on a subway floor, a pair of walking shoes, a middle aged lady on the beach, a clothespin on a clothes line and turns them into stunning pieces of art.
