@pixelgeek This is North West Scotland Roger. Around the longest day, it doesn't really get totally dark. You always see a bit of blue sky and orange glow. This was taken in June last year though. Just now it's pitch black by 6pm.

I was in Iceland two years ago, and I was my first experience of midnight sun. I went for a walk at 12:30am. Pretty cool experience.

@pixelgeek I'd love to experience that myself. Full midnight sun. We only get the glow here being further south. Norway for the midnight sun in summer and the northern lights in winter is on the bucket list. :-)
