ivw had like three people recommend that book and another that he cowrote with someone else. you probably know what im talking about. one of them even gave me a copy of the co-authored book and "and the hippos were boiled in their tanks" co written by kerouac and burroughs under psuedo-psuedonyms. kerouac changed his first name from jack to jon and burroughs kept his real first name and changed his last name to lee. i think it was their first book as a matter of fact. its not your typical kerouac and nothing like burroughs usual writing style. not sure if youve ever read any of their work but im betting that you have. so tell me if its worth reading. their is also this great free app albeit not the same as a paper book but it has eighty classics for free. everything from bram stoker to nietzsche in there. you are the first person i have chanced to meet that would appreciate this sort of thing but the app is called eighty classics.

i wish i knew more people that read the classics. i found existentialism via a book called irrational man and then discovered kafka whom i love and then dostoevski of course. im so happy i found someone else is into that stuff. i'll tell you my story soon. i really want to but i have these impenatrable walls up. its hard for me to let my gaurd down even though chances are we'll probably never meet. you'll understand when i do tell you. if i had to pick a fictitious character that was most like myself i would say holden caulfied. i think everybody is phony and theyre all guilty until proven innocent. but i see something in you that i dont in other people. maybe its your carefree look on your profile pic. maybe its simply that you like the same books as me. who knows. maybe youre just cute and educated. i honestly dont know. but im glad i found you ; whatever the reason. im new to the cyberfriend thing. ive never done this until i found ig and i was always kind of snobby against it. but when i found a sight that people talk about art it changed everything. i assumed everybody that talked to others on the internet were all about dating and such. i didnt think people just talked. no strings attached. i have even made to two friends that i know i will never lose touch with no matter what path i follow in life. i have been shooting for less than one year. but ive always read and admired art of various forms and i write creatively. all that will never change. im rambling and i know this message is going to be a monster so let me know about that book. im going to go to shopping for literature this weekend and im tired of rereading novels. well im tired of rebuying them because i always give them to people when im done. so let me know. and are you familiar with tom robbins?

about "American Gods" - yes, it's a good book, not an easy reading, but very interesting story and almost every dialog makes me think of many different things.. which is good, for me :) So, if you are planing some book shopping this weekend - try to look for this book, if you want ;). I think Neil Gaiman has great books, I have listened to "Neverwhere" - it was so good, I could not stop listening!.. but it's of course if you like fantasy. What else do I like?.. well, have you read Kurt Vonnegut?.. mind blowing! @kirilov ..and by the way, did you try a library instead of buying and rebuying? :) What could you recommend from Tom Robbins?..

still life with woodpecker by tom robbins. im reading my first vonnegutt right now which i believe is his latest work called armegeddon in retrospect. but also jitterbug perfume. that one has timothy leary was a character in it. how about this. oh pensacola library sucks. but yes ive tried. i am not impressed. but theres a good college close so i will find my books used. i like to keep them and give them as gifts sometimes if i really liked it like the perks of being a wallflower was hard to give away because i liked it so much. ive bought at least four copies of on the road, catcher in the rye , and the stranger. and many more. but i have to own copies of them. but i will agree to read any book of your choice if you agree to read one of those two i just mentioned. is american gods the book you would recommend since ive pretty much exhausted dostoevsky kafka. and camus. almost. i only have two tom robbins left but i dont want him to just be over. hes too good to stop writing. it s dumb.
